A New Kind of Love

Transcending physical pleasure
A new kind of love comes to me
The clouds above are smiling
As this new love dances through the depths of my soul
In the heart of the city
a single flower rises from the pavement
Hang on, city dwellers!
a new kind of love is being born
As individuals from different cultures meet
A transcendent joy overwhelms them
The "melting pot"
swings into action
leaving stardust in its wake

I wonder if that will happen or will there be lines drawn which each culture can not cross? I enjoyed reading your work. Sara

I have been working at a community college for over 20 years and meet people of many different nationalities and faiths. In my ESL work I have found that most immigrants to the USA are hard working people. There is a lot which all people share! Peace & Love Matthew Anish
