A New Hunt

He hears her call final drinks As closing time is one In fifteen minutes he'll make his move This hunt has just begun Six months or more, he's studied her By shadowing her life Tonight he'll take it all away Her throat, one cut, his knife So unexpected he knows she'll be Such a meek and feeble prey An easy hunt this should become No obstacles in his way She ushers out the remaining few Chuckling at their moans Her shift tonight, a tiring one Confirmed by her aching bones At five to one, she locked the bar Then walked out to the street Imagine if she only knew The death she's soon to meet With precision of an alley cat He hides himself from view Here he'll wait for her to pass She'll never have a clue With silent stealth, he struck her down Then sliced her ear to ear That choking, gurgling, gasping sound Was all he yearned to hear Once her body became still He kissed her lifeless eyes A satisfaction then filled his soul As he whispered his goodbyes Then he dragged this girl aside And covered just her face People need to see his work So he sees their disgrace
