A New Game In Town
There sits birdseed in a box
which used to have a plant growing in it.
A planterbox full of birdseed
brings lots of little Birds morning and eve.
They fall from the sky.
They make a big mess.
Occasionally, Squirrel visits.
His tail hangs down the side of the box
as he eats the seed.
When Human sees him, the door opens,
and Squirrel is shouted away.
I don't like shouting.
She likes the birds better than Squirrel.
But, there's a new game in town.
I've decided to run out the door,
chase Squirrel around the tree,
then go back inside and wait
to watch the birds return.
But, oh yeah! Here comes Squirrel again
so out I go.
I'm Mister, the Dog.
Thanks for the applause.
