A New Day Resolution
We begin with a resolution for the New Year
When we fail we give in to the fear
If you are willing to swallow your pride
Here is something others have tried
On this day I resolve to be a better man
On this day I resolve to help where I can
On this day I resolve to read a good book
On this day I resolve to improve how I look
On this day I resolve to control my wealth
On this day I resolve to better my health
On this day I resolve to get more rest
On this day I resolve to be at my best
On this day I resolve to open my mind
To possibilities of a different kind
Why settle for the mundane
Why not reach for the higher plane
Why not join the revolution
And start a new day resolution
