A New Beginning
Today I will greet the morning,
Shake off any shackles of gloom.
Open my window,
Welcome the world in.
Watch the sunlight dance in my room.
Today I say goodbye to sorrow,
My heart free as a bird winging above.
All my cares are cast
By the winds of yesterday.
For today LIFE and I are in LOVE.
