A Musing

I came to note
Just older men dote
Upon my wife,
Arrived at mid-life
With charm and poise,
Aware of the joys
She’s found with me,
Our family tree
Two branches grown
And happiness known
Since salad days
When young men would gaze
With naughty aim,
Green I was her flame.
