A Mothers Will

To Bare, to nurture, teach, and guide
Protect each hair from harm
To raise a daughter with warmth and grace
A son with wit and charm
To instill with compassion, courage, and strength.
And the value of common sense
Fortune or failure, to her matters not
Her love is forever immense
She breathes each breath and feels each pain
As if it were her own
Remaining a beacon of constant light
For these seeds that she has sown
Her only wish is for happiness
Her children's dreams fulfilled
To know indeed her love is returned
This is a mothers will
