A Mother

A mother is one who lends a ear no matter how old you are.
They try to catch each tear no matter how near or far.
They lend a hand when all alone.
And stand by your side whether home or gone.
She shares the same sorrow and joy,
no matter if she has a girl or boy.
She shares laughter and pain,
even though there's nothing to gain.
They never turn their backs or shrug a shoulder,
no matter how silly the problem or if the child is older.
They open their whole heart to any child.
For this reason a Mom makes a Mother.
