A Monster of a Man

POEM " A MONSTER OF A MAN " by martin gedge

In the mouth of madness and through the naked eye

with a sudden bolt of lightning from the fury in the sky

so well dug deep in science as its ready to compose

in the name of death and violence in the flesh the giant rose

the cell of the demented for the hideous insane

to shock of every vessel driving cider to the brain

a grasp into the movement of the ill intended stare

the corpse of countless errors in need of fix and to repair

the skin was more then willing and the killing quite device

a strength a million armies with no care no fare or price

as taller came the shadow well the darker came the night

and cold as he was bitter well his grip was hard and tight

of monster and of mayhem was a man so left of dead

with minds made out of metal that would plate a stubborn head

there is terror in his shallow box that locks a foolish heart

a stain attached to link and chain of every moving part

and 10,000 volts of energy in a body burns the soul

of course there lies the inner force that fronts the heavy blow

to flip the switch without a glitch each stitch it will contrive

a storm be born beyond the norm in form " I am alive"...
