A Monikuhikuquatsequ
in the midst of death-
lichens come to life
(moniku)
this summer morning-
azalea perfume hints
& yellows the lawn
(hiku)
with buzzard on high
o'er fields prairie dry
walnut ripen in husks
the afternoon turns to dusk
(quatrain)
