A Moment of Contentment

You said my name like it was sacred
Almost as if it would never be heard again,
never to be said again.
You took the right steps towards my heart,
you made blood flow through my veins,
I was more than alive.
You had me wishing for nothing more,
for I had it all, beside you
Please, don't take it away.
The wind was warm, and blew perfectly,
the sun shined like never before,
and the clouds, they held my dreams.
As the clouds held my dreams, you carried them
out. Made them come true. Taking no moment with
I for granted.
For that, my dear, I love you.
For that, my dear, I love you.
