A Moment In Time

A MOMENT IN TIME (after infant bereavement)

A precious moment, lost in time
Lent by God for just a while
A glimpse, a touch a tender kiss
Angel wings to brush our lips

Tender memories , always there
Of love, of life, are ours to share
A hushed whisper on the gentle wind
Pearl like tears sprinkle, broken hearts to mend

Sadness. raindrops, gentle breeze blowing
The sun sheds its shawl, it’s sunbeams glowing
Togetherness is for ever and not just a few years
Let God’s basket of dreams catch the sadness and tears.

Fingertips reaching out to embrace us, feel their touch
Angels lent by God , those we love very much
Remember they will always be here in our heart
With God you and your loved ones are never apart
