A Moment Before the Kiss

"A Moment Before the Kiss"

vision distorts
the shadows blend
hypnotic entrance
eyes close the darkness
next level up
transforms golden
as the eyes open
channels switch
tongues not
used for talking
words no longer
necessary
we walk through
the door to a place
of mystery
elemental
closed until that
singular moment

I Remember A Princess That I Let Get Away---- I saw her eyes and I just knew She was mine until the ending of time We made it that summer evolving through A romance died, man what a damn crime. The world was a fine opera for us She with lips so sweet and body so fine I a bit of a rascal, a true cuss Passionate wine and dear hours we both dine.

A beautiful and haunting poem. Syncs with the depth of your title. Can't wait till that singular moment where all moments reside. But, then that's also when the struggles of life rest imho.
