A Moment At Midnight
I don't care for tomorrow
and yesterday has gone.
Just live in this moment,
let the magic flow on.
Kiss me at midnight
at the time in between;
when the mystical power
is felt but always unseen.
When beneath the stars
I'll come looking for you
with a candle to guide me
upon a path so true.
We'll meet in the garden
in the sweet summer breeze,
and love in the moment
'neath weeping willow trees.
Blanketed by the green
of nature's first gold,
for this is our moment
to have and to hold.
The secret, sacred love
within two gypsy hearts,
and the magic of midnight
where love's sweetness starts.
On this forbidden path
our destiny commands,
fulfillment of prophecies
through true love's demands.
We'll part in the dawning
of tomorrow's new light,
forgetting the passions
that bound us at midnight.
Forsaking the power
of yesterday's fate,
as we live in the moment
all tomorrows can wait.
Blanketed by the green
of nature's first gold,
for this is our moment
to have and to hold.
The secret, sacred love
within two gypsy hearts,
and the magic of midnight
where love's sweetness starts.
On this forbidden path
our destiny commands,
fulfillment of prophecies
through true love's demands.
We'll part in the dawning
of tomorrow's new light,
forgetting the passions
that bound us at midnight.
Forsaking the power
of yesterday's fate,
as we live in the moment
all tomorrows can wait.
