A Moment

I found peace
In the still of night;
I found release
When moon and stars ignite.
The spiraling scent of vague perfume
Ignites my inner fire;
The serenity that fills my room
Pacifies desire.
The silent song of sighing breeze
Whispers low;
To sing her psalm to ancient trees;
Where rivers flow.
For what was lost has now been found
Profess the living Christ;
The King of kings now is crowned
In the splendor of His sacrifice.

The grace of God where angels trod, was born to man but raised from sod. And so He came to cure the lame, to die for sins became His fame. What grace in yonder Heavens shine?
