A Mom

She tucked you in, kissed your chin,
and set you for the night,
Held your hand, fueled your plan,
you knew her love was tight,
Wiped your tear, calmed your fear,
                         faced off your deepest fright,
In all these ways, her heart love stays,
                         she’s been your guiding light.
