Come sit beside me, and
Tell me your story;
I wanna hear about everything:
The trials and the glory...
It's the closest I can get to
Walk a mile in your shoes;
So come and tell me
Your story -
Let's share your truth...
I wanna hear about
Your childhood;
How were things when
You were young?
How about your family?
Did you feel misunderstood?
Did you walk roads alone or
Find comfort in friends?
I wanna hear your story,
Find out how it all ends...
Destiny is often choices,
Are you happy right now?
Would you change anything?
Or can you embrace the past?
It's the closest I can get to
Walk a mile in your shoes;
So come and tell me
Your story -
Let's share your truth...
No matter our beginning,
We can make fate bend;
It's a simple thing to do,
What's best for your soul...
But no matter your choices,
I will stand by your side;
I'm happy to have met you,
My friend in the sky...
