A Mermaid Sings

The voice over the waves of the sea a call that beckons me
come sailor to the deep for I wait for thee to keep
and so shall ye find thy reward in my arms
as a guest In the depths of the deep
for a mermaid chooses you see one her heart dearly seeks
over time will you know where a hero may truly go
Is It not a fishermans dream to find a mermaid but you set me free
and I shall never let thee go
for I made a vow to thee to be yours and thine along
