A Memory To Forget

You are a memory I long to escape But your grip is so tight Around my wrist, and you see I have blown out so many candles And fallen eyelashes Wishing to forget you To send your memory Into oblivion Like nothing ever happened Give my old self back to me Give me a clean slate So, I can disremember you And rediscover me Finally feel real feelings Finally feel what it's like To be Free We both deserve to forget That night I have finally forgiven you And we both deserve To feel Alright
