A Memory

I close my eyes and I am there
That heavenly place that you and I shared
We stroll hand in hand along the path
Living and laughing as in the past

The waterfalls and strong evergreens
Enormous boulders and falling leaves
A mountain top view of a town below
A misting rain mixed with snow

The chill of the air upon my skin
A kiss to warm me once again
Your brilliant eyes and gentle smile
Your silly antics; my heart goes wild

A spiritual journey for you and me
So this is where I choose to be
Living and feeling what I believe
And loving you for eternity
