A Mecurial Soul
The signal passed last night,
removing order from this day
a structure in decay;
as valid value dreaming
sent planet planes careening.
So to,
this marble flooring wears and
tears beneath our feats;
nothing so complete but
a depression era drama signaled
forth this day,
cotton bound and vexing
held within it’s sway
in fervent anguish stay,
the signal there connecting
this twisted brilliant day...
A mercurial soul slips through
God's fingers.
Pray next time he has
a better grip.
