A Meadow Piled Deep With Snow
There stands a lonely evergreen
Its boughs heavy bending low
A silent peaceful frosty scene
Of a meadow piled deep with snow.
The winters air crisp, dry and clean
And with every footstep that you make
Comes a wispy cloud of vapor seen
Out of every icy breathe you take.
A frosty wind begins to gently stir
And snowflakes in your eyes do blow
But nothing can spoil the grandeur
Of a meadow piled deep with snow.
