A Matter of Perspective
Meet Mr. Spry
an energetic type guy
moves with speed to and fro
really fast he does go.
Looking fit and so trim
no health problems for him
all good things on his plate
at his age he looks great!
Out to walk in the morning
came this pain as a warning
a hospital visit that day
to hear what doctors might say.
Came some news like a flash
hopeful thoughts might they dash
not much time left to spend
your life is close to the end.
While Doc I tend to agree
it's perspective you see
because we've been here before
and I'm just 104!
