A Marriage With a Healing

A MARRIAGE WITH A HEALING A widow and alone now, and grieving from the loss, She met a man divorced now and grieving from its cost. The love they felt grew quickly, and soon he did propose, The bond they each were seeking was one now that they chose. Sometimes it is so special, for I remember too, My dad went through that also with someone he met new. She was a widow also, my dad divorced as well, And of that special union a story I can tell. She’d lost a special husband, now living all alone; The sorrows he was feeling had also quickly grown. Their marriage happened quickly, and they had many days Of serving God together in many special ways. So now you two together can build a life like theirs With serving God together, uniting in your prayers. Had it not been that woman who he met that one day, Our lives might now be different, from God so far away. Their union brought me soon then to that eventful day I made sure of salvation when to the Lord I prayed. You never know, but others may through this union be Drawn closer to the Savior and serve Him faithfully. Yes, marriage can be healing; for you two it is best— The loneliness and sorrows can now be put to rest. “A marriage with a healing”—may it be both for you, With serving God together like Dad and her did do. So as this healing grows now with every passing day, May God bless now your union in a very special way! --Dedicated to Mary & Dave Case
