A Marine's Day

These bodies all around
I can't help but cry,
Round after round
Semper Fi...

It's a Marine's day
one I've carried
My brothers, lay, in honor
buried.

"Kill em all!"
firing my rifle
hajees fall
my conscience will stifle

The battle is done
yet goes on in my head
I thought we won
but every night i now dread

But I'm a Marine
Its what i do
I'm bad and I'm mean
But I'll defend you

Sad write. I can't imagine what a young man or woman who is in the military and sees action goes through. Keep the creative pen flowing. Sara
