A Man, the Man
A Man, The Man
Along came they
Along came the years
Ingathering together
Observing my fears
Their goal, carry me away
But behold, his hand nears
I slip, I fall
Engulfed by tears
Lo, upon the great waters
Stands a man
Said man, of Bethlehem
Though I toiled
Battled the oar
The raging sea
The tempest roar
My only find
How I was so wrong
For for me the current
Far too strong
But Lo, He calms me
The storm and the sea
This man, said man
Said from Bethlehem
From years of old
Of him I been told
The one from Galilee
Only now, my faith bolds
My heart sold
For how he walks with me
In distasterous brink
No more a fearful thought
For how shall I fear a wind
My God has taught
I behold not so far
A refuge, safe land
There be the very ground
On which my saviour stands
Behold the man
Said man from Bethlehem
From years of old
Of him I been told
Who walked in Galilee
Only now, my heart is sold
For how I see
Jesus my Lord
Walks the road with me
