A Magic Love Potion

~ A magic love potion ~ Gazing out over the ocean My eye caught the crest of a wave Dreaming of a magic love potion That could our faint-beating hearts yet save from the ravages of time, seas apart... As wave after wave crashed shoreward their sound drove a stake in my heart How to conjure some new way forward... When I espied something bobbing near me A bottle I reeled in with a rope Inside your love letter I, astonished, did see ~ Our magic potion, bobbing on a wave of hope

Hi there Gershon … yep, well written again on a topic of romance. I have heard that the smell of money can be a love potion too, but that was from an eighty year old man who recently married a twenty-two year old lady - once again, thank you Gershon - Lindsay

Well, I guess... Who knows? … One in a million odds, but then again no different than winning the lottery. :) gw

This one was fun my friend. A love message in a bottle, how romantic.

Thanks, Chris. --And thanks for refraining from saying, "How unlikely," which I was thinking after I'd penned it... Then again, you never know in life... :) gw
