A Lucky Find

Sometimes in a store you'll find
Just what you'd hoped to see,
The price and style so good
Your brain and pocketbook agree.

It doesn't happen all the time
But when components click,
It feels like fate is leading you
To what you need to pick.

And so you quickly make your way
To join the checkout line,
Convinced that what you've found
Is by celestial design.

Of course, it doesn't balance out
Those times when choice demanded,
Since not one thing was appealing,
That you come home empty-handed.

I'm too much of an impulse buyer to come home completely empty handed, but it really is great to get good deal. Great poem!!..............80)

It is wonderful when all the components come together and I recently got a bargain pair of slippers in a colour I love and they were the only ones in the shop and were a perfect fit. That is my Christmas present I want for nothing more (but I have just ordered some PJ's with cute penguins on them and they are a bargain with a free waterbottle too) and I need them both now winter days are approaching... that's my excuse anyway lol) :-) hugs Jan xx
