A Loving Friend I Hold Quite Dear

A Loving Friend I Hold Quite Dear By Dane Smith-Johnsen A loving friend I hold quite dear. In my heart remains always near. If oceans, seas, or mountain streams Should hear us shout our primal screams. It’s because we select peace received. Instead of shackles by mankind conceived. We cherish friendship more than gold. For gold too soon is spent on things But friendship will forever hold. And trust without end in kindness laid, Builds reliance from which our alliance will not stray. Adventure converges upon our two hearts. And exploration becomes realities’ delight. Two old friends in love with life “Toodle” around to share nature’s wealth. And if you listen carefully, You too may hear that primal scream. The primitive yell from a distant knell. That conserves God’s creatures well.
