A Love So Powerful

I’ve fallen in love; can’t get out.
Dwindling farther and farther down.
The indescribable things that surround me.
Memoirs of a love that still runs free.
Our love like the wind;
That will not end.
Arms open wide for anything;
Awaiting what the future will bring.
A feeling so powerful, it will tear down walls,
Crash buildings, break hearts, make your tears fall.
We’ll still be running,
Free and wild, wild and free.
Together we stand,
Hand in hand,
Running through the barriers of the world around us,
Knife in hand, gashing those who try to stop us,
Bullets of love thrashing through hate,
Blocking the tick of the clock that’s too late.
We’re here and there’s nothing this world can do,
So I’ll look in his eyes and say, “I love you.”
