A Love One Way
My heart tried to warn me.
I was too blind, to see.
I should’ve known,
a man like you
would never love
someone like me.
You broke my trust,
with your web of lies.
Your fantasy of her,
has yet, made me see.
That, a love one way,
was never meant to be.
