A Love Not of This Earth

I'm looking for love, but first and foremost friendship.
Let me take you above, so hop in my spaceship!
Because I'm taking you out there beyond the stratosphere.
As we indulge in this love affair, I'll be Lancelot to your Guinevere!

If I have to, I will fight to the death just to protect you.
I will give my last breath before I ever neglect you!
Allow this love in my heart to be like armor of steel.
From the start you were a part of all these feelings I couldn't conceal!

Such magic are your words said to me, like uttering an incantation;
Like the most romantic poem read to me, so take my hand for heaven is our destination!
A place of pure bliss is where I'm taking you body and mind.
As you taste my kiss, know this, you'll always be beside me, never behind!

It's like I hear a thousand angels rejoice, and I listen attentively.
But it's only the sound of your sweet voice reciting some poetry!
As I listen to your words, I close my eyes and it's like Shakespeare rebirth.
It's no surprise, I see visions of a sunrise, and your love is not of this earth!!

A beautiful promise of love to come. Now that's the kind of poetry I enjoy reading from you, Ponch. Love, Audrey

This is a great approach to finding the perfect woman, Jimmy. The best relationships often start with frienships and later develop into something more. How wonderful it would be to have the kind of romance Lancelot shared with Guinevere! Very nicely written, mixed with Medieval and spiritual qualities. Love, Carolyn
