A Love Long Forgotten

As I sat on my porch one night
Feeling the gentile wind against my face
I thought of a love long forgotten
Remembering the way he touched my skin
As we made love

As I sat on my porch one night
Looking at the loyal moon
I thought of a love long forgotten
Remembering how loyal he was
To his friends and family

As I sat on my porch one night
Watching the leaves drift away
I thought of a love long forgotten
Remembering how he
Drifted away from me

I suppose everyone had a love at sometime in their lives, that drifted away. Must be meant to be! Perfect picture you portrayed! ....Carrie

Probably happened for the best. Love the style and imagery here. I often have memories of past loves too, and wonder. Love, Shar
