A Love In the Mind

A love I have forgotten
Leaves this path unwritten.
The love I have desired
Keeps me on smitten.

My love
My life
Two intertwined.
Between the two
Something has mimed.

This fake love copied
This true love faded
My heart longs dearly
For something unabated.

This true love of mine
Clings onto my heart divine.
The one thing I loved
From this true heart of mine.

Faded and gone
To the depths of my mind.

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
