A Love As Deep As The Stars And Sea

O stars, how tenderly you pierce the night,
Your silver whispers gliding through the sky,
Like tiny flares of love's eternal light—
In you, my own soft dreams are bound to lie.

The ocean waves, with secrets deep and true,
Roll soft as breath against the waiting shore;
In their embrace, I feel the strength of you,
A constant song that leaves me wanting more.

The moon ascends, a lover calm and wise,
Its silver gaze caressing earth and sea;
No beauty can escape those quiet eyes—
It holds all tenderness, and sets me free.

For stars, and waves, and night’s soft, glowing face,
Are loves I keep—a distant, sweet embrace.
