A Look Into My Soul

I'll let you take a look into my soul,
Look into the patches I've had to sew.
Take a look into my reality,
Look into my mistakes and mortality.

Don't shy away from looking,
Look into my hardships and doing.
Look upon my cold winters,
See my tired hands and splinters.

Seek the deepest and darkest sight,
See the struggles and battles I've had to fight.
But look carefully and don't miss a thing,
Just as you see the winter you will find the spring.
