A Look Back nigh Night, to Live Forward Right

As sunlight slides behind the hill,
I think about my life gone past;
And what it might amount to still,
As sunlight slides behind the hill.
If faith would only guide my will
To seek and serve those things that last
As sunlight slides behind the hill,
I think about my life gone past.

Bartholomew, your simple prayer to serve is deeply touching in its humility. I once read that lowliness is knowing one's need for God. That is so evident in your words. Sending you blessings for the work of your hands and the desire of your heart to serve and write. Congratulations on your win.

Sam, thank you so very much for your truly generous and gracious comments. I appreciate them - and you. I think you just made my week/month, so thank you. I would like to take a moment to reflect all of that via praise, glory, honor, and thanksgiving to Him. God's abundant blessings and my very best wishes to you, sir! :) Bartholomew
