A Longlegged 8
The ocean’s full of your teardrops
Your bed - a heap of failed suitors’ bones
You can’t find someone long enough
To get to know and fall in love
I took a step,
You went eight ahead to lay a trap
I gave you the world (the entire earth)
You gave me the kiss of death
You wear a ring on each finger
Remarried seven times now you poor spider!
And I always bail before the honeymoon
When bloodlust overcomes you with the full moon
Would you marry me my se&y long legged eight?
And this time I’ll stay happily 'cos you're on a diet
So, with this eighth ring I thee wed
And with that, finally lay my head in your web
