A Longlegged 8

The ocean’s full of your teardrops Your bed - a heap of failed suitors’ bones You can’t find someone long enough To get to know and fall in love I took a step, You went eight ahead to lay a trap I gave you the world (the entire earth) You gave me the kiss of death You wear a ring on each finger Remarried seven times now you poor spider! And I always bail before the honeymoon When bloodlust overcomes you with the full moon Would you marry me my se&y long legged eight? And this time I’ll stay happily 'cos you're on a diet So, with this eighth ring I thee wed And with that, finally lay my head in your web

I came across a prestigious list of the top 100 most published poets here and I am not surprise. Your quality indeed goes hand in hand with your quantity. I'll check one or two more of your works because this has given me a unique satisfaction. I give you a handshake of a definite 7!

Hi Funom...thank u for all that u are, truely profound. I have found that my vacabulary limits my ability to express some of the things matter and that I could bring to this platform. But you have such a deep range, your writings are full of wisdom and insight and leave one mesmerised...thank u for shinning your light into my life...rgds, Thabang
