A Loner's Soul
For by the grass her way is paved,
And by the wind's breeze her heart sings.
With company is boredom, for her it means,
And solitude is pleasure to her it brings
Not even in the darkness of the night
Her soul needs someone to shed some light
For the twinkle of the stars is more than enough
To get along with a gloom so tough
Such soul wants to rest alone
With no one, but the trees beside her grave;
Where many fledglings have grown,
Ready to be solitary, but brave.
And as she waves to her neighborhood,
Butterflies, the leaves and the birds wave back.
There is no way for such soul to brood
For being alone is her happiest luck.
