A Little Princess
With a head so golden brown like a field of corn swaying in autumn breeze,
waiting to be harvested.
A cherub’s lovely smile brightens up your angel face,
With a ballerina’s grace each step you take,
With eyes so bright you take in all the world has to offer.
Inquisitive nature you ask many questions,
In a sing song voice full of awe you bring joy
To those who hear.
Funny things you do like a cub at play,
For you know loving arms are not far away.
Forever growing always learning,
Singing and dancing,
The joyous sound you make when you laugh,
Is like an angels choir.
A young lady in waiting,
But to those who love you;
You’ll always be a little princess.
