A Little More Dressing!!

A Little More Dressing!!

My pants are too tight,
Someone blew up my belly,
My feet are out of sight,
Which way to the deli?

You think I am joking,
You think that I jest,
Someone’s been poking,
Holes,
In my vest.

That turkey was so good
The dressing too,
I would eat more if I could,
Shame on you.

You are too good a cook,
Pecan pies, oh my,
I took a second look,
And began to cry.

I was too full,
Couldn’t eat any more,
Just one more mouthful,
I could not ignore.

The next month,
No food for me,
Or maybe the seventh,
We will have to see.

Now I have to lie down,
My tummy is aching,
I must look like a clown,
My knees are shaking.

Too much weight,
I am guessing,
I filled my plate,
A little more dressing.
