Cory Long Poet Haiku

A Little Girls Loss

Mother walks away
never looking back to see
tears run down her cheek.
~
Never knew her heart
Shattered broken left behind
sad little girl cries.
~
By herself she sits
pondering the world at hand
what will she do now?
~
Without the love of
A mother’s heart and soul she
Is on her own now.
