A Little Boy's Dream

I WROTE THIS IN 1996 AND IT IS A STORY
I WROTE FOR MY GRANDCHILD...


This is the story
of a little boys dream
where everything's different
or so it seems

Long neck giraffes
the color of green
nibbling and crunching
an eating machine

Red monkey's
playing in a tree
with orange rhino's
swimming in the sea

There!a lavender bear
oh!don't eat me
or running dogs
all pink and cream

Or how bout tigers
all purple and blue
a coon.a rat
or a bat or two

Yellow mice!!
my how nice
or white frogs
setting on logs

Oh any thing 
will do...if only
little boys dreams
could come true...
