A Little Bird's Pride

Tweet tweet as she twitter
Cuckoo there you find it chirp

Filled up in eagerness in mama's nest
Laying helplessly as she tries her best

There she looks forward for expectations
For mama to bring feed in supplications

Looking down longing to fly
But never know what patience could buy

Cradling as she felt too old to stay indoor
Till she flew and fell on the floor

Then her thirst was satisfied with bitterness
As she broke her arm and died in sickness
