A Little At a Time

A little at a time,
I'm coming back to you.
Slowly my heart throws out old love,
and lets you fill that spot with something new.

Piece by piece like a puzzle,
I will come together my love will shine.
I am sorry that it is only
a little at a time.

I am dealing with the issues
that I ignored never wanting to find,
but the roots go deep, so I have to do it
a little at a time.

Pretty soon I will wrap things up,
so all of me you can find.
Instead of only
a little at a time.
