A Light In the Darkness

As you live in a fairy tale I fight for your name In the dark world of immorality You are an unwanted light shimmering in Between the cracks Of the boards On the windows In the rundown shack we call society Do you not realize what they think of you? Your magnificence disturbs the comfortable darkness of the room You realize what you are Too good for this world Too good to admit this So sleep in your fairytale I’ll fight for your light Throughout the night
