A Light At the End of the Tunnel
So filled with flaws always headed in a wayward direction
The one who so often falls and is anything but a reflection
One very large plank in my eye that even I am able to see
Very often late to realize in just the knowing that that's me
How many times have I fallen carrying my own cluttered past
Some of the things were appalling not how I'd want to be cast
But I do have one redeeming quality that I speak of so proudly
The one thing that I can see is it's the Lord Jesus who set us free
A road that's been so very long as it is often that I've gotten lost
Not one who can be so strong and thus paying such a terrible cost
But I had that one Light who was always Lord, every night and day
All those times that I lost my sight and in return I would then betray
But in each one of His Lessons I would slowly in turn come to learn
Each of them Blessings was always the one thing that I could discern
Imperfection well that's just my nature but in the following of His Way
It's no longer something I can ignore in learning it's best not to stray
