A Lifetime Together With You

To coin a phrase if I may,
Long ago and so far away.
I fell in love with you,
And believe me that was true.
We were so young and just kids,
Beginning to realize what life was about to offer,
 Together we spent enjoying
 The company of each other.
Never once thinking we would Eventually have to face reality,
 Never thinking this teenage
 Romance was not to be.
And so reluctantly w said our good-byes,
I can still remember walking away with tears in my eyes.
The years had passed, and times had changed,
It seemed we were destined to meet again.
With the help of two fine gentlemen,
Fate had placed us together again.
This time with no rules to follow,
This time together we would face all our tomorrows.
A year ago the impossible dream came true,
I have the love of my life,
And a life time to spend it with you.
