A Lifetime Friend

A LIFETIME FRIEND

He's my husband my partner my lover my friend.
A lifetime spent together until the very end.

We were just teens when we first met.
Us staying together caused our friends to loose their bet.

He taught me the good things I needed to know.
Teaching me about life's highs and lows.

He taught me how to be a good wife and mother.
Also taught me how to treat and be kind to others.

We were both each others childhood sweethearts.
So growing up together we decided to never part.

As the years pass we'll always be together.
Cause we believe our love will last forever.
