A Lifetime Fight

Pain-striken I find myself, bulky is the knott that sits in my throat A question comes to mind, a question that goes out to the unknown Am I to see the light of tomorrow by my beloved Paula, her smile is my heart my devotion I shall stand to greet her smile, for surely it shall come my way again, I adore her If the hands of time swing loosely, I shall race against it with all of my will A true loves always finds a way, a form of reconnecting in bond and spirit I feel her her cries, I feel her pain Weeping myself to sleep as I am powerless to do a thing, I dream of kissing her under the rain Alas I found my soul mate cried my heart out unto me The one whom shall be at my side no matter how rough the ride Her eyes speak to me, her heart dwells in my soul and spirit whole I can't help it feeling blue, my heart aches in sorrow, for it thinks of her not being there tomorrow I call upon the name of love, of joy and affection Whom shall come to a fallens poets aid? I cry, I die a little inside with each passing day Sobbing my eyes out, I fall to my knees and stare to the skies, to speak with my Father A gentle breeze covers my eyes, and with in seconds I know His presence is there to stay Each poem is a cry for help, each word testifies my love, my devotion, my memory Will I too go down in history Another chapter of what love could be? I won't let it be like that, I stand to my feel She is my bear, my other half and I am hers, together we shall see lifes play, this is my testimony
